Based on your votes in our Auditions 4 poll, it was a close race between a sentimental original song and the spirit of a chicken for the episode’s favourite number. Stephanie Rainey’s lyrics to “Please Don’t Go” about her deceased young nephew touched the most hearts, garnering 23% of the vote. Close behind was Jo De Rijck’s chicken/mentalist hybrid number with 19%. Headbanging guitarist Maya Neelakantan wasn’t far off the top either, with 17% of the vote.

The only group to receive a Golden Buzzer wasn’t in our poll last week. Howie used his first of two Golden Buzzer decisions to send an Australian dance troupe Brent Street to the live shows. He was impressed by their creativity on stage and their ability to surprise the judges with their routine.

“America’s Got Talent” will continue to air all summer on NBC, with the Season 19 finale likely airing in mid-September, when the next winner will be crowned.
