The eight-part series, Are you sure?!will debut on August 8
BTS members Jimin and Jung Kook will embark on a new travel series, titled Are you sure?!which will be released exclusively on Disney+ on August 8.
The eight-part series will follow the duo as they travel to New York City, Jeju Island in South Korea, and Sapporo in Japan. According to the press release, the reality show will “take viewers on a fun-filled journey with Jimin and Jung Kook as they eat, shop, cook, camp, canoe, swim, and travel together” and will offer “a deeper look at Jimin and Jung Kook’s undeniable chemistry and endearing friendship as they bond over a variety of unforgettable moments throughout the trip as they immerse themselves in different cultures, explore various action-packed activities, and sample local cuisines.”
Hours before the news, BTS’s official Instagram account gave a sneak peek at the show in a clip featuring photos of Jimin and Jung Kook swimming, kayaking, riding a motorcycle, and embarking on various other outdoor adventures together.
Are you sure?! is set to release new episodes on the Disney streaming platform every Thursday through September 19. The series was filmed in 2023, before Jimin and Jung Kook began their mandatory military service in South Korea.
Earlier Tuesday, it was announced that BTS member Jin, who returned from his 18-month mandatory military service in June, will be a torchbearer at the 2024 Paris Olympics this summer. Along with Jimin and Jung Kook, the K-pop group’s members V, Suga, RM and J-Hope are currently serving their military duties. The K-pop supergroup is set to reunite in 2025.
