Anthony Mackie Celebrates July 4th With New Still From Set of ‘Captain America 4’

Anthony Mackie revealed a new look at his new Captain America costume for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Captain America: Brave New Worldduring a special Fourth of July celebration. With the film’s release fast approaching, MCU fans are eagerly awaiting the first trailer. While we’ll have to wait a little longer for the footage, Mackie did give us a sneak peek at Sam Wilson’s final suit, building excitement as the countdown to Captain America: Brave New World continues. In the photo, Mackie’s Sam Wilson looks on extremely star-studded, and he definitely seems to have a plan.

The most recent image we saw of Mackie as Sam Wilson showed him in a costume similar to the one worn in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However, the dark blue colours seem to hint at a return to a more traditional, and probably better received, costume, more reminiscent of those worn by Chris Evans like Steve Rogers in his previous outings in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Who else is in “Brave New World”?

The film will be Anthony Mackiefirst solo film of , playing Captain America, under the direction of Julius Onahand the film will also see Harrison Ford reprising the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross from the late William Hurt. The film’s production, however, had no difficulty finding. The film was originally titled New world order before being changed into The best of worldsand the film was then forced to make significant changes during reshoots.

Some of the new material that has recently been shot will include a very exciting casting addition to the film: Giancarlo Esposito as an unnamed character. We know that the extremely charismatic actor is playing one of the villains in the film, but it’s unclear how he’ll fit into the film, especially with the Leader already seemingly filling the role of the main antagonist. The film also serves as a spiritual sequel to The Incredible Hulk because the film also includes Liv Tyler like Bruce Banner (Edward Norton/Mark Ruffalo) his former girlfriend, as Betty Ross. With filming having recently wrapped, we won’t have to wait too long before we can see the first official images from the film.
