Kevin Hart is always busy, whether that be in the literal sense, with his current national comedy tour, or in the sense of making a business splash with the launch of his new tequila, traveling with his family has always been his favorite getaway.
“I love traveling with my kids and creating family memories,” Hart said. Travel + Leisure “That’s my job as a father,” he said in a recent interview. [to give] Our family trips are always a celebration because there are so many vacations the kids can look back on and remember fondly.”
The 45-year-old comedian, actor and father of four told T+L that while the Hart family has some go-to spots when it comes to traveling, they’re also open to trying new destinations.
“We love Thanksgiving family get-togethers, beach vacations, water activities, boating, and all that stuff. We want to create stories that kids can look back on and say, ‘Remember when my dad and I used to do this?'” he says. “We love Aspen, and holidays there are the best.”
“My wife wants to go to Bali and we have to go,” he added.
Hart is currently on his “Acting My Age” tour, traveling the country performing comedy shows and connecting well with his fans.
“It’s a big win for me, a big bonus, to be able to go out and interact with people and perform for people,” he said, adding that performing in his hometown of Philadelphia is especially meaningful.
“Philadelphia will always stand out because it’s the place that gave me birth and raised me and the fanfare there ultimately helped shape and mold who I am today,” he said.

Straight. I’m a laid back drinker, so being able to drink it straight is a huge bonus for me.

I can’t travel without my iPad.
As for his other ventures, one of Hart’s behind-the-scenes projects involves partnering with 11th generation tequila maker Juan Domingo Beckman to create Gran Colamino.
“Our products have great stories to tell,” Hart said, explaining that the company’s tequilas include Cristalino, Añejo and the newly released Reposado, all of which are purposefully priced.
“We’re not trying to be nasty or take any marks,” he says. “We’re bringing you a premium version of a premium product with flavors that don’t exist in stores at this price point.”
So how does Hart enjoy it? “Sip it in small sips and enjoy it. That’s how I enjoy it. I’ll enjoy it with a good steak dinner, and I wouldn’t mind having tequila with pasta.”
For an actor who regularly appears in high-grossing box office comedies and who just began his fourth season of a celebrity talk show, Heart to Heart At the Peacock, tequila might be the only time he can relax.
“Our search right now is to find more, so as opportunities arise and more material comes along, we’re going to dig a little deeper and say, ‘What else can I do?'” he said. “I’d love to be able to say I’ve done a lot in my career and tried a lot of things. That’s what we’re here for.”
