The outage is causing flight delays and cancellations around the world. Some flights have been delayed or canceled at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Despite the delays, travelers were able to check in. Allegiant Air said all flights before 2 p.m. were canceled. CVG spokesperson Mindy Kirschner urged travelers to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport. She said flights are taking off, but some have been delayed or canceled. Kirschner said the airport has an operations team roaming the ticketing area to keep travelers updated and help where they can. Firefighters are roaming the airport and handing out water. An Amazon official at KCVG said there were no flight delays due to the Microsoft outage.
