(By Lloyd Ford) Last week I spoke with a very talented sales/market manager who is currently looking for work. He called to check in, but our conversation quickly devolved into a discussion of the power and horror of artificial intelligence and sales.
You’ve probably heard it all by now. “AI will replace us all.” “AI can do your job.” “AI is too complicated for me to learn.” “AI is too scary, it keeps me locked away.” “AI can’t be better than me.”
After asking a few questions, he said:I am amazed by what I am learning about Artificial Intelligence, which has already made me more valuable in today’s radio market. Mastering these skills will allow me to explode my positive impact on my sales team and revenue at a much higher rate than I ever could before..”
Of course, I shared with him aspects of a new artificial intelligence tool that allows local radio groups to launch specific creative ideas to help sellers make more productive cold calls by showing advertisers evidence of what they want and showing them the “c.”Inaudible” This in turn encourages further purchases.
There he shared what he learned about the speed available to salespeople and sales managers. Thanks to AI It helps you generate sales opportunities, presentations, data and quick impact.
Finally he said:People fear being replaced by AI, but the truth is: While we’re less likely to be replaced by artificial intelligence than most people think, we could all be replaced by someone who uses AI to be much more productive than we are now..”
