BTS members Jimin and Jung Kook are set to star in a new travel reality series on Disney+.
The series Are you sure?!exclusive to the Disney streaming service, was announced via a statement from the K-pop supergroup’s label, Big Hit Music, and their parent company, Hybe, on Tuesday evening.
Are you sure?! is set to be released on August 8 and, according to a release, will follow the duo as they travel across three locations in three countries: New York City, Jeju Island, South Korea, and Sapporo, Japan.
The eight-part show will show Jimin and Jung Kook enjoying both a summer ocean and a snowy ski resort, allowing the group’s fans — collectively known as ARMY — to get a behind-the-scenes look at the duo’s road trip together.
The series was filmed in 2023, before the two K-pop stars enlisted for their mandatory military service in South Korea. It is the first travel reality show exclusively for Jimin and Jung Kook. Earlier Tuesday, it was confirmed that BTS’s oldest member Jin will participate in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics torch relay as South Korea’s torchbearer. Jin is the only member of the group to have completed his military service, having been discharged last month after enlisting in December 2022.
Are you sure?! will release new episodes every Thursday until September 19.
