With departure and arrival boards at capacity, only Thanksgiving weekend will see a higher volume of travelers than the Fourth of July. And that high volume means patience. Atlanta traveler Karren Graham recounts her experience traveling from Atlanta. “To check our bags, we had to wait 20 to 25 minutes. Then the main security check took about 30 minutes. We were able to get through without any problems, so it was faster for us.” Most on-time arrivals and departures at CVG, with minimal check-in times and very few weather delays, are consistent with the situation at most airports in our countries. Passengers take more time for hugs than for frustration, more smiles than for delays.
