THIS IS WHAT WE’RE TALKING ABOUT AGAIN. AND THIS IS A LIVE LOOK FROM OUT IN SACRAMENTO RIGHT NOW. THE SUN IS SHINE. IT’S TIME TO GO OUT BECAUSE THIS IS THE COOLEST TIME. IT’S GOING TO BE ALL DAY. 71 DEGREES RIGHT NOW, WINDS ARE BLOWING FROM THE SOUTHWEST ABOUT FIVE MILES AN HOUR. IT’S ALREADY WARMER THAN YESTERDAY AT THIS TIME. BUT AS WE’RE GOING TO HAVE A LITTLE MORE BREEZE IN THE AFTERNOON COMING FROM THE SOUTHWEST, THE TEMPERATURES SHOULD NOT BE AS WARM AS YESTERDAY. SO AT 11:00 AM WE’RE LOOKING FOR 91 DEGREES AT 3:00 PM, 105. NOW LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT THE PATTERN HERE FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS. THE HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE THAT’S BRINGING US THE HEAT. IT’S STILL THERE AND IT’S STILL IN THE TRACKS, BUT IT’S SLOWLY STARTING TO WORK. IT’S WAY TO THE EAST. NOW WE’RE GOING TO SEE A LITTLE INCREASE IN TEMPERATURES AGAIN FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, BUT THEN THOSE TEMPERATURES WILL START TO FALL AS A LONG TROUGH STARTS TO MOVE IN. AND THAT’S GOING TO BRING US COOLER AIR, NOT JUST FOR THE END OF THE WEEK. AND THE WEEKEND, BUT HOPEFULLY NEXT WEEK AS WELL. SO FOR THE SIERRA TODAY, IT’S DEFINITELY GOING TO BE WARM AND WE MAY SEE SOME RECORDS FALLING IN THE SOUTH LAKE TAHOE AREA AGAIN. LOOK AT THESE HIGH TEMPERATURES. I MEAN, WE’RE TALKING ABOUT 90’S SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. REMEMBER, A LOT OF HOMES AND CABINS DON’T HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. AND A LOT OF PEOPLE LIKE TO CAMP ON THE WEEKENDS. THIS IS NOT GREAT TIME FOR CAMPING. WE’RE LOOKING AT UPPER 80’S. AS WE GET TO THE END OF THE WEEK FOR THE FOOTHILLS 105 TODAY, THAT’S STILL AN ALERT. DAY 104 TOMORROW, BUT 98 ON TUESDAY. NOW TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO RISE AGAIN WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY BEFORE STARTING TO FALL AGAIN. AND FOR SACRAMENTO, THEY’RE FORECASTING 107 TODAY. BUT EVEN 100 TOMORROW AND 98 ON TUESDAY. I THINK WE’RE GOING TO FEEL THE DIFFERENCE, ESPECIALLY AFTER 113 YESTERDAY. NOW WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. BACK TO IMPACT DAYS 104 105. AND THEN WE’RE GOING TO DOWN INTO THE HIGH 90’S. NOW, THE HIGH 90S ARE OF COURSE STILL ABOVE NORMAL. 94 IS A NORMAL TEMPERATURE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. BUT THEN AGAIN, AFTER THE 113 WE HAD YESTERDAY, 98 LOOKS FANTASTIC. IT IS. AND RICK IS STILL WORKING RIGHT NOW.
