This month, the savvy travelers among us can look forward to avoiding crowds while maximizing their comfort during their airport experiences in the newest lounges, all while taking advantage of the best loyalty program and credit card benefits. You can also become one of those savvy travelers: Along the way, you can boost your account balance with bonus miles and points promotions to help you plan your next trip this summer and beyond.
Here are some of the latest events and offers available in time for the rush of the season.
Bonus Points and Miles Offers
Hilton Honors is taking its partnership with Delta one step further by offering 1,000 bonus Hilton Honors points for every flight booked in a premium cabin. Delta One and first class flights are eligible, as are Premium Select and Comfort+ flights. You can earn up to 6,000 Hilton points with this promotion. Register now through July 19 to take advantage of this promotion, which is valid for flights booked through September 19.
You can also earn bonus Hilton Honors points by booking AutoCamp properties, a new partnership between the hotelier and the glamping company. The brand has eight locations worldwide, including Russian River, California, and Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The perks start rolling in if you have Hilton Honors status: You get extras like bottled water, firewater packets, s’mores kits, and even tent upgrades based on status. From now until August 12, Hilton Honors members will earn an additional 1,000 points for every stay they complete. You can book directly on the dedicated page on the Hilton website.
From now until September 13, new IHG One Rewards members will be able to earn 5,000 points when booking their first stay. Hotels in the IHG network include big names like the Regent Hong Kong and the InterContinental Paris Le Grand.
From now until the end of the year, members of the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) Discovery program can earn 15 “dollars,” redeemable for cash, by booking a hotel stay through the GHA app. There’s no limit to how much you can earn by staying at the group’s famous hotels like the Royal Livingstone on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls and Amsterdam’s oldest hotel, the Tivoli Doelen.
There’s no deadline for this, but it’s worth noting: Marriott Bonvoy and Starbucks have teamed up to offer travelers bonus points when they order Starbucks beverages while staying at a Marriott hotel. After linking your accounts, you can earn double Starbucks Stars every time you make a purchase during a Marriott stay. You can also link your Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks accounts so you can earn miles and points on every order. Travelers can now earn bonus SkyMiles when they reload their Starbucks wallet.
