The Hyundai Kona electric vehicle (EV) will revitalize operations at the company’s battery factory in Indonesia.
The South Korean automaker will reportedly unveil the new Hyundai Kona EV at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).. Car Show It will be held from July 18 to 28, 2024 at ICE-BSD City, Tangerang Regency.
Hyundai will produce the Kona EV using its own batteries. New factory in IndonesiaThe power source for the Kona EV will be manufactured by PT Hyundai Energy Indonesia (HEI), while PT Hyundai LG Indonesia (HLI) Green Power will manufacture the battery cells for the Kona EV.

The Kona EV is a great fit for the growing global EV market, which is seeing a trend toward more affordable electric vehicles as demand for higher-priced EVs declines in the relatively new auto market.”
Hyundai UK has given us a first look at the Kona EV. The electric vehicle comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital cluster and Projection Type A head-up display and e-Active Sound Design with BOSE audio system are also included.
The UK market Kona EV comes with a 48.4 kWh battery, giving it a driving range of up to 234 miles. Hyundai UK is also offering the Kona EV with a 65.4 kWh battery pack, giving it a driving range of up to 319 miles.
