Richard Simmons refuses medical treatment after fall

As we reported, Richard fell in his bathroom on Friday evening, and police sources say that when his housekeeper came to his aid, she pleaded with him to seek medical attention that evening.

Richard said he had felt dizzy before the fall, but he rejected the housekeeper’s suggestion that he go to the doctor, saying he might go on Saturday but didn’t want to go that night because it was his 76th birthday, so the housekeeper helped him back into bed and that was the end of it.

A housekeeper found Richard unresponsive on the floor next to his bed at about 10am on Saturday morning.

Another source said Richard had no visible signs of trauma, such as bruising or bleeding, after the fall. It is unclear whether the cause of his dizziness or fall is directly related to his death.
