In “Pack With Me,” influencers and editors share their travel essentials and some of their accompanying travel tips. This time, Victoria’s Secret model Taylor Hill tells PS what she packed for her trip to London to shoot the new Dream Angels campaign.
Victoria’s Secret model Taylor Hill (28) is the perfect person to ask for travel advice before your trip to London, England. She visits London frequently for work, but also for fun, including recently attending a beautiful wedding in the English countryside. This time, however, she was at Longleat House, the location for the shoot of VS’ latest Dream Angels campaign.
Hill explained to PS that the property was incredibly unique, with gorgeous views of the surrounding area. On the day of the photoshoot, Hill started her makeup and wardrobe fitting early to take in the views. Her favorite look is this black satin and lace-trimmed slip from Wicked (pictured below). It’s comfortable, and she loves how the lace trim adds a touch of elegance.
When you’re not a busy supermodel, Hill has plenty of suggestions for how to spend your free time, including cycling around Westbourne Grove and stopping off in Daylesford for fresh organic food, dining at Orange Buffalo Wings in Shoreditch, popping into the vintage stores on Brick Lane, or getting your caffeine fix at a coffee shop called Hjem in Kensington.
Her biggest tip: pack a raincoat. “If you’re traveling to London, the first thing you need to know about the weather is that it’s unpredictable. It rains frequently, so a raincoat is a must,” she says. “Dressing up in layers is essential to adapt to sudden changes in temperature. If you’ll be doing a lot of walking, I recommend comfortable, waterproof shoes. An umbrella and scarf are also useful accessories. With these essentials, you’ll be prepared for London’s changeable weather.”
Below, she reveals the 13 items that magically pop into her compact weekend bag every time she goes to London. They range from relaxing self-care products to handy tech gadgets that help her document her adventures. And the best part is, none of them cost more than $150.
