IOH will provide the new cloud-based solutions through Indosat Business and its subsidiary Lintasarta.
Muhammad Buldansyah, IOH Director and Chief Commercial Officer, said the tools were designed to help the oil and gas sector become cleaner, more efficient and more competitive.
The proposed solutions include a tool to use high-resolution seismic wave measurements for exploration, which can increase production by up to 10%.
IOH will also connect workers through AI, monitor safety compliance and emergency response levels, and provide predictive maintenance tools.
From an administrative perspective, it is about offering an AI-based legal contract analysis tool that examines complex legal contracts with high financial risk and in-depth regulatory considerations.
According to the IOH, this reduces the costs of external legal counsel by up to 50% and reduces contract review time by up to 90%.
Indosat’s intelligent monitoring will address high accident rates in the oil and gas industry, reducing the risk of fatal injuries by 95% and the risk of fires and explosions by 90%. Compared to manual monitoring, the AI tool is said to be 70% more cost-effective.
To support these tools, Lintasarta Cloudeka Deka GPU Infra will provide high-density GPU-enabled data center solutions and GPU cloud infrastructure in Indonesia.
The upstream oil and gas industry is a vital part of the Indonesian economy, contributing significantly to the country’s GDP and energy needs.
“The use of technological innovation is crucial to staying at the forefront of the dynamic oil and gas sector,” Buldansyah said.
