Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has told Christians that if they vote for him in the November election they won’t have to vote again, saying, “We’ll work everything out.”

He added: “Christians, I love you. I’m a Christian. I love you. Get out there. Get out there and vote.”

A US president can only hold power for a total of eight years. Trump He has already served one term, and if he is re-elected in the November 5 vote, he will have four years remaining in his term in the White House.
It was not clear what he meant by his comments at a campaign rally in which his Democratic opponents denounced Trump as a threat to democracy and sought to overturn his 2020 loss to U.S. President Joe Biden.
Asked for clarification, Trump campaign spokesman Stephen Chang told Sky partner network NBC: “President Trump was speaking about the importance of faith, uniting our country and creating prosperity for all Americans in contrast to a divisive political environment that has led to so much division and even an assassination attempt.”

A Harris campaign spokesperson responded to Trump’s speech by saying the former president “couldn’t pronounce the words.”
He added that Trump “sounded like someone you wouldn’t want to sit next to in a restaurant, let alone be the president of the United States.”
